So there's a website I visit every day, and the format of the site has recently been changed. One of the changes is that the speech is with a British accent. I know how to hold down insert and hit V to get into JAWS verbosity. But even though I turn language detection off, the next time I visit that site, it's back on again. Is there a way to turn this feature off permanently?
Press insert plus f3, then go down to personalized settings. Then turn it off from there. It'll stay off for that site. If you want it off for all sites--might be annoying if a site is in another language, go to configuration manager.
Thank you! I did what you said and it worked.
Personally don't have the JAWS program
...just have for so lng a time
heard so much of it...
First person to share such info with me was one
